how long to set up a JRSC?

A mate of mine has just had a jrsc fitted into his uk spec type-r.He had it back for about two or three weeks when he found out he can get a lot more power out of it ie retuned,he had to take it back to the place where it was fitted (thats 145 miles away).its been there for three weeks now.so does any one now how long it takes to tune up a super charger,they have set it at 5psi and installed a apexi fual/air computer which has give the car a extra 18 bhp.

Shouldn't take 3 weeks, unless they have no earthly idea what they're doing. It would make me wonder if they broke something and are trying to wait for parts to replace the damage?????

Though tuning is subjective for the amount of mods to a car, I would think with a stock set up it should not take longer than 2-3 days at the most.

I took my shop an hour and a half to get 193 whp out of the basic kit on a Type R. Type R's are known to be the hardest to tune of all the JRSC'd cars too.

No way should it take three weeks.

apparently they are fixing in a brand new air filter,by K&N.which has been desighned just for the type-r with ram air.so are they haveing trouble installing the thing??? i,ll let you know what the new air filter is like and tell you why they had the car so long.
